Kate, as your personal career and life coach will keep your hand to the helm as you navigate the waters of change needed for success in your professional or personal life.

Kate specializes in powerful, short-term transformational coaching of professional men and women who want to achieve compelling goals.  Using powerful communication skills and strategies, Kate clarifies vision, uncovers and mobilizes inner resources, dispels or reframes perceived obstacles, and opens the horizon for clear access to dreams.

An added service of Life Direction Coaching, Inc., (for those who choose it), is provided through partnering with Ameriprise financial advisor, Eric Simonson, to support and facilitate goals that include wealth acquisition as well as career, health, personal, and social excellence—men and women who want it all!

She has an undergraduate degree in Education from the College of St. Benedict and a Master’s Degree in Adlerian Psychology from the Adler Graduate Institute (www.alfredadler.edu). In addition to being certified by the International Coach Federation, she is also an Adlerian Certified Life Coach and a certified Neuro-Semantics Meta-Coach. Kate is licensed as a Employment Placement Specialist, as well.  She is a member of the Minnesota Coaches Association, and the International Coach Federation.

Kate’s career includes developing partnerships between educational systems and companies such as Ameriprise, GMAC-RFC, Cargill and others. She has trained business interns, business entrepreneurs, and provided professional development for educators.

Besides individual coaching, she  provides highly interactive seminars to organizations teaching coaching skills to managers that bring out the best in their associates. She contracts with businesses using proven coaching skills to actualize special project development. Kate is on staff at the Adler Graduate School of Minnesota in the Professional Life Coaching Program. She is author of “A User’s Manual for Operating a Business Network” © and her newest book which is in the field of children’s literature, “Why Was I Born a Ladybug?”© Click on “Coaching and Career Services” for details about publications and seminars.

Kate was raised in northern Minnesota where her roots, friendships, and education were intertwined and enriched by the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwa. Through her heritage, she carries the Native American blood of the Seminole and uses visualization and metaphors of Nature extensively in her coaching and training.
